Summer School 2024
Dear Parents/Guardians,
The school district is very excited about providing a summer school program for the children of Elkhart Lake and Glenbeulah. This summer marks the 22nd year in offering a summer program. Our summer school program is available for all students who are currently in 4K and up to students who are currently in grade seven. This year’s summer school will include enrichment courses and skill builder courses specific to literacy and math foundational skills. New this year are Getting Ready for Kindergarten and 1st Grade Courses designed to provide greater support and attention to the specific needs of our youngest students. This means 4K and 5K students will be with the same teacher throughout the morning to complete a variety of learning activities. Please continue reading to learn more about the summer school program to help with your summer planning.

Elkhart Lake Public Library Summer Program (SEPARATE from Summer School Program)
The Elkhart Lake Village Library will be offering a summer program that will be held at the Elkhart Lake Village Public Library for students currently in grades 4K through 3rd grade. This program will be held on Wednesday afternoons from 12:30 pm-1:30 pm on the following Wednesdays: June 12th, June 19th, June 26th, July 10th, and July 17th. Parents will be responsible for transporting their children to and from the public library summer program unless the child is in child care. Students who are registered for child care will be under the supervision of the child care staff who will escort students to and from the library on Wednesdays for participation in the summer library program. These same summer school-child care students will need to have with them a cold lunch on the Wednesdays when the library program is held. Please contact the village library directly with questions about the summer program at 920-876-2554. Please see information below about child care services.
We hope you strongly consider having your child participate in our summer school program.
Sincerely,
ELGSD Summer School Team
