Our staff thinks “outside the box” to provide learning solutions and experiences which are meaningful and relevant to the our students’ lives, such as incorporating technology to facilitate and expand student learning; providing exploratory courses; offering independent study experiences and advanced coursework, and tying into relevant current events such as the Winter Olympics and Presidential elections with mini-units of study.
Add in unique experiences such as the 30-mile Sheboygan Marsh Bike Trip, 6th grade camp, 7th grade Wetland Studies, Adopt-A-Grandparent Program, Culinary Field to Fork experience, etc. and it's easy to see that an ELGS educational experience goes beyond the traditional areas of study.
In addition, there are many extra-curricular activities that students can join as members and because of our size, becom eactively involved! At EL-G there’s a spot for everyone—you’re never left out. We work hard to help put our students on the path to be happy, competent, and confident young men and women.
